DATES AND TIMES
• Call-in time for USA breeders is BEFORE 7 am on collection days. We encourage breeders to call in the day/evening prior, but in no case later than 7 am on the day you want to order the semen.
• Call-in time for Canadian breeders is BEFORE 4pm the day prior to collection to allow for export
paperwork.
• Breeding season starts on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 and ends on Friday, July 3rd, 2020.
• Collections are completed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Exception: Southwind Frank and Creatine are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ONLY.
METHODS OF DELIVERY:
Please note, overnight shipping is not available for all stallions (Father Patrick and Southwind Frank do not ship overnight). It is the breeder’s responsibility to get this information when booking to the stallion and make other arrangements.
• PICK UP: Requests will be available for pick up after 11 am.
o PA Stallions: Diamond Creek Farm, 151 Warrington Street, Wellsville PA 17365
o OH Stallions: Sugar Valley Farm, 2648 Troy Rd, Delaware OH 43015
• FEDEX/UPS: Overnight shipping is available Monday through Friday. Please provide your FedEx/UPS
account number and the destination address. Saturdays are pick up only.
• AIRPORT COURIER: We offer an in-house courier service in both PA and OH for $200 plus the cost of the airbill per semen container. The cost of the airbill can be split amongst multiple farms, but each box will be charged the $200 flat courier fee.
• TRANSIENT BREED: We MUST have vaccination and negative Coggins records PRIOR to the mare’s arrival.
No exceptions; mares without prior approval and required documents will be turned away at the gate.
PAYMENTS
PA Stallions: The collection/processing fee is a $150.00 for the 1st collection. The fee for a third collection request will be $250.00. All collection fees must be paid in order to continue receiving semen or in order to have your mating certificate released. We do accept credit cards online or by phone.
OH Stallions: All collection/box fees are payable directly to Sugar Valley Farm.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• We WILL NOT collect for a mare without a signed breeding contract on file. No exceptions.
• It is up to the breeder when booking the mare to inform the breeding farm about all the above information. We are not responsible for any missed collections due to miscommunications.
• If you are using email or text to place an order, we must have all account information (shipping address,
FedEx/UPS account number, credit card, etc.) on file. We do not allow the use of our Fed Ex account, so it is up to the breeder to set up their own account.
• In your email/text, please include the Mare/Stallion and how you plan to obtain semen.
Example: Much Madness/Sweet Lou. Pick-up. If you do not receive a confirmation by 7 am the day you are ordering, please call to ensure that your message was received. We cannot be responsible for technology
failures.
• All stallions are limited to one breeding per heat cycle. Requests for a second breeding within one heat
cycle are subject to approval. No second breeding requests are guaranteed until after the stallion has been
collected and we can comfortably cover all first breeding requests.

CALL INS:
• We closely manage Southwind Frank’s book, limiting him to a few mares per collection.
• Southwind Frank order’s must be placed by 3pm the day BEFORE collection. When calling, we will need the follicle size and other breeding information. We will confirm the that the mare is on the schedule by 4pm that day, so do not give ovulation drugs until we confirm that the mare is on the book.
• We recommend calling with a “heads up” earlier in the week, when you think your mare will be getting closer so we can have her down as a potential.
