Marseille to Join the Diamond Creek Farm Stallion Family in 2021

Diamond Creek Farm and the owners of Marseille are excited to jointly announce that he is the latest addition to the stallion roster at Diamond Creek Farm in 2021.

Marseille finished his career with over $516,000 in earnings and a record of 1:51 4/5. Marseille’s signature win came when ‘David slayed Goliath’ in the 2019 $500,000 Earl Beal Memorial at Pocono. Marseille’s takedown of the oft-spoken invincible Greenshoe showcased his class, speed, and the cunning ability of his trainer/driver Ake Svanstedt. He went on to win his division of the $50,450 Tompkins Geers.

“We have always seen Ohio as a growing market, and this was confirmed by the mares-in-foal numbers released by the USTA,” said Diamond Creek’s Adam Bowden. “We are excited to expand even further into Ohio with the addition of a high-quality horse such as Marseille.”

Marseille’s pedigree speaks volumes about his potential ascendancy to greatness. His dam is a sister to Delaware world-record setter Cash Hall ($554,298, 1:51 1/5h) and he is a full brother to 2019 Peter Haughton and Breeders Crown runner-up Rome Pays Off ($411,200, 1:52.3). Marseille’s good looks are only amplified by his full sister’s sale-topping $550,000 yearling price tag in 2019.

Marseille also represents an unbelievable opportunity for Ohio breeders for direct access to a fertile son of the great Muscle Hill. With good looks, brains, brawn, and great value, Marseille enters the Ohio market ready to succeed. Taking an approach direct from Europe, Marseille will stand for a $3,000 live-foal guarantee plus a $250 booking fee to secure the opportunity.

Marseille will be standing at Sugar Valley in Ohio. Interested breeders can contact Diamond Creek Farm at 717.638.7100 or bookings@diamondcreekfarm.com.
